V. Exhibition Overview:

ECWATECH, the Environmental Water Treatment Exhibition in Moscow, Russia, is the leading water resources exhibition in Eastern Europe. Founded in 1994, it is a large-scale water treatment event certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). It covers multiple aspects of water treatment equipment and services, including water storage, protection, and water resource power generation, water purification, industrial water treatment and utilization, wastewater reuse and recycling, pipeline system construction and maintenance, and water treatment.

 

The last ECWATECH exhibition covered an area of 20,000 square meters, with 474 exhibitors from China, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Taiwan of China, Dubai, Singapore, Turkey, etc., and attracted 25,000 visitors. As the gateway to water treatment in Eastern Europe, it also adds value for new companies in the industry to participate. ECWATECH will attract more exhibitors and offer a better exhibition experience.

 

This exhibition is the preferred platform for entering the water treatment market in Russia and the Russian-speaking regions including Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It is particularly suitable for companies in the fields of water treatment, pumps, valves, and pipes to participate. Chinese enterprises that participated in ECWATECH 2023 achieved good exhibition results, and the vast majority of them will continue to participate in the 2024 Russian Water Exhibition.

VI. Market Analysis:

The water treatment market in Russia has huge potential! The Russian government attaches great importance to the protection and utilization of water resources and has set strategic goals for a 5-10 year transition period. Sino-Russian trade has maintained double-digit growth for several consecutive years. China has become Russia's largest trading partner since the beginning of 2009. Chinese products are very popular in Russia. In 2018, the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia reached 107.06 billion US dollars, exceeding 100 billion US dollars for the first time and setting a new historical record, with an increase of 27.1%, ranking first among China's top ten trading partners in terms of growth rate.
